The Laser and Spectroscopy Department at the Laser and Photonics Research Center is committed to advancing and disseminating state-of-the-art knowledge and applications of laser technology within Iraqi society, in alignment with recent scientific and technological developments in this field. The department aims to address societal demands for modern laser-based technologies across diverse scientific and practical applications by developing highly qualified research personnel and providing advanced educational and training programs consistent with international standards. Furthermore, it strives to create an optimal research environment that supports high-quality, peer-reviewed scientific output and facilitates publication in reputable national and international journals and publishing venues.
