Under the patronage of the President of the University of Al-Hamdaniya, Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Sliwa, and under the supervision of the Director of the Laser and Photonics Center, Professor Mona Yohanna Sliwa, the Laser and Photonics Center organized a scientific visit to the University of Mosul / Dryland and Sustainable Agriculture Research Center on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. The visit was conducted with the participation of a number of researchers and staff members.
The visiting delegation was received by Professor Dr. Mohammed Subhi Al-Tawil, Director of the Dryland and Sustainable Agriculture Research Center, along with the heads of the center’s scientific departments. The visit included a field scientific tour of the center’s departments, laboratories, and research facilities, during which the delegation was briefed on the available scientific and technical capabilities, the mechanisms for implementing field and laboratory experiments, and the prospects for joint research between the two sides.
This visit comes within the framework of strengthening joint scientific cooperation between universities and research centers, exchanging scientific expertise, and contributing to the support of applied scientific research and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
