Under the patronage of the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Professor Dr. Nishat Mubarak Sliwa, and under the supervision of the Director of the Laser and Photonics Center, Assistant Professor Muna Youhanna Sliwa, the Laser and Photonics Center, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a workshop entitled “Environmental and Urban Problems, Informal Settlements, and Methods of Addressing Them” on Sunday, 15 February 2026.
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Khalid Raed Nafea and was attended by a number of faculty members and administrative staff.
