The Director of the Laser and Photonics Center, Professor Muna Sliwah Yohanna, held an expanded meeting on Sunday, February 1, 2026, attended by the heads of scientific departments and the supervisors of scientific and administrative units at the Center. The meeting reviewed the achievements of the first academic semester and evaluated the overall performance of the Center. The meeting also discussed the key challenges encountered during the previous period and outlined strategic plans aimed at launching the second academic semester with higher efficiency, contributing to the achievement of the Center’s educational and scientific objectives. Emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening continuous cooperation among all staff members. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Director expressed her appreciation and gratitude to the Center’s staff for their dedicated efforts, stressing the need to increase the pace of work during the upcoming phase, particularly in completing scientific research and publishing it in reputable international and local academic journals.
